Ein von der Investmentfirma PEAK6 aus Chicago angef\u00fchrtes Konsortium \u00fcbernimmt 100% der Anteile von den bisherigen Besitzern, zwei Gesch\u00e4ftsleuten aus Dundalk.<\/p>\n<p>PEAK6 ist auf Sportinvestments spezialisiert und h\u00e4lt unter Anderem auch Anteile an AFC Bournemouth und AS Rom. Die Motivation, als Investmentfirma (die ja im Allgemeinen auf finanziellen Gewinn aus ist) in einen irischen Verein zu investieren, ist mir nicht so ganz klar, denn das gro\u00dfe Geld ist im irischen Vereinsfussball bisher nicht zu machen. Entsprechend wird diese \u00dcbernahme unter irischen Fussballfans auch mit einer gro\u00dfen Portion Skepsis gesehen.
