<\/p>\n\n\n\nGestern Abend fand der letzte Spieltag der First Division statt, und es waren noch Entscheidungen bez\u00fcglich des direkten Aufstiegs und der Teilnahme an den Playoffs offen. Bis kurz vor Ende der ersten Halbzeit gab es dabei keine wesentlichen Verschiebungen, dann traf in der 43. Minute Stephen Christopher zum 1:0 f\u00fcr Galway United gegen UCD. Damit schob sich Galway an Cabinteely vorbei in die Playoff-Pl\u00e4tze. Eine Minute sp\u00e4ter traf Ryan Graydon f\u00fcr Bray Wanderers gegen Athlone Town, somit war Bray zur Halbzeit Tabellenf\u00fchrer vor Drogheda United.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ein Doppelschlag von James Brown und Luke Heeney in der 58. und 63. Minute brachte Drogheda gegen Cabinteely in F\u00fchrung, damit gewann Drogheda die Tabellenf\u00fchrung zur\u00fcck. In der 81. Minute glich Evan Weir f\u00fcr UCD gegen Galway United aus, damit fiel Galway wieder aus den Playoff-Pl\u00e4tzen heraus, Cabinteely war wieder drin. Evan Weir legte in der 89. Minute noch ein zweites Tor f\u00fcr UCD nach, Shane Duggan glich wiederum f\u00fcr Galway in der Nachspielzeit aus. Am Ende stand somit Drogheda an der Tabellenspitze und steigt direkt auf, in die Playoffs geht es f\u00fcr die Mannschaften auf den Pl\u00e4tzen 2 bis 5: Bray Wanderers, UCD, Longford Town und Cabinteely. Galway United und Cobh Ramblers (die gegen Shamrock Rovers II torlos blieben) gehen leer aus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Torsch\u00fctzenk\u00f6nig der First Division wurde Yousef Mahdy von UCD mit 15 Treffern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr heute Abend waren zwei Nachholspiele der Premier Division angesetzt, es fand jedoch nur eines statt: Finn Harps schlugen St. Patrick’s Athletic mit 3:2 und bekommen so langsam Anschluss ans Mittelfeld der Tabelle, was dann nat\u00fcrlich auch bedeutet, dass noch jemand aus dem Mittelfeld auf den Playoff-Platz abrutschen k\u00f6nnte. Das andere Spiel, Shamrock Rovers gegen Derry City, wurde abgesagt, nachdem nach einem Corona-Fall im Kader von Derry die nordirischen Beh\u00f6rden eine Quarant\u00e4ne f\u00fcr die gesamte erste Mannschaft angeordnet hatte. Da kein realistischer Nachholtermin mehr m\u00f6glich ist, k\u00f6nnte diese Partie f\u00fcr Shamrock Rovers gewertet werden, das ist aber noch nicht entschieden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
