Das deutliche 4:1, kombiniert mit dem Unentschieden von Derry City gegen Shelbourne, bedeutet, dass die Rovers jetzt acht Punkte Vorsprung haben. Derry m\u00fcsste jetzt seine drei verbleibenden Spiele alle gewinnen. Shamrock Rovers sind Meister, wenn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Derry am Montag das Nachholspiel in Sligo nicht gewinnt oder<\/li><li>Shamrock Rovers am kommenden Wochenende nicht gegen Derry verlieren oder<\/li><li>Derry am letzten Spieltag gegen Dundalk nicht gewinnt oder<\/li><li>Shamrock Rovers am letzten Spieltag UCD schlagen oder<\/li><li>bei einem Unentschieden gegen UCD die bessere Tordifferenz vor Derry behalten.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es muss also f\u00fcr Derry schon alles ideal laufen, um die Rovers noch abfangen zu k\u00f6nnen. Waterford hat sich nun mit einem Sieg gegen Athlone Town den zweiten Platz geholt, Galway musste sich nach einem 3:3 gegen Longford Town mit Platz drei begn\u00fcgen. Damit trifft im Playoff Waterford auf Treaty United, Galway trifft auf Longford. Damit spielen Galway und Longford, diesen Spieltag mit eingerechnet, dreimal in Folge gegeneinander. Die Hinspiele der ersten Playoff-Runde finden am Mittwoch statt, die R\u00fcckspiele am kommenden Wochenende.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Derweil hat Tabellenf\u00fchrer Cork City die Saison standesgem\u00e4\u00df mit einem Sieg gegen Bray Wanderers beendet. Die Partie wurde, wie zu erwarten war, nicht mehr mit voller Intensit\u00e4t gef\u00fchrt, aber der Sieg war dann trotzdem ein guter Abschluss. Einen guten Abschluss seiner Spielerkarriere bekam auch Cork Citys langj\u00e4hriger Torh\u00fcter Mark McNulty, der diese Saison prim\u00e4r Torwarttrainer war, aber seine Spielerkarriere noch nicht offiziell beendet hatte.
