F\u00fcr Irland stand dabei ein Ausw\u00e4rtsspiel in Moldawien an.<\/p>\n<p>Irland legte gleich schnell los und ging in der zweiten Minute durch ein Tor von Shane Long mit 1:0 in F\u00fchrung. In der Folge bestimmte Irland die erste Halbzeit, konnte aber nicht nachlegen und kassierte durch einen Konter in der Nachspielzeit der ersten H\u00e4lfte den 1:1 Ausgleich. Nach der Pause kam Moldawien mit etwas mehr Offensivdrang aus der Kabine. Irland konnte nach und nach wieder die Kontrolle \u00fcbernehmen und durch zwei Tore von James McClean das Spiel letztlich verdient mit 3:1 gewinnen.<\/p>\n<p>In den anderen Spielen der Gruppe trennten sich Wales und Georgien 1:1, und Serbien gewann gegen \u00d6sterreich mit 3:2.
