Nun wurde jedes Team einmal geschlagen, das aktuelle &#8222;Opfer&#8220; war Bray Wanderers, bis dahin mit 9 Punkten R\u00fcckstand auf Cork Tabellendritter. Cork ging in der 10. Minute durch einen von Sean Maguire verwandelten Handelfmeter in F\u00fchrung und hatte in der ersten H\u00e4lfte weitere Chancen, die F\u00fchrung auszubauen, die Brays Torwart Peter Cherrie aber mit einigen sehr guten Paraden verhindern konnte. Es ging also mit 1:0 in die Halbzeit. In der zweiten H\u00e4lfte war Bray pr\u00e4senter und die Partie ausgeglichener, und als es schon fast danach aussah, dass das 1:0 der Endstand sein w\u00fcrde, traf Corks Kapit\u00e4n John Dunleavy nach einer Ecke per Kopf zum 2:0. In der Nachspielzeit kam Bray dann noch zum 2:1.<br \/>\nEine \u00dcberraschung gab es in Galway: Das bislang sieglose Team von Galway United kam gegen Dundalk zum ersten Saisonsieg. Dundalk verliert damit weiter an Boden gegen\u00fcber Cork, der Abstand von Platz 1 zu Platz 2 betr\u00e4gt jetzt schon 12 Punkte.<br \/>\nDerry City konnte in dieser Woche zwei Unentschieden einfahren, am Dienstag im Nachholspiel gegen Limerick und am Freitag gegen St. Patrick&#8217;s Athletic. \u00dcbrigens wurde diese Woche auch gekl\u00e4rt, wo Derry zumindest die erste Runde der Europa League-Qualifikation austragen wird: Man hat sich mit Sligo Rovers \u00fcber die Konditionen der Nutzung des Showgrounds einigen k\u00f6nnen, Derry spielt dann also in Sligo.<br \/>\nSligo Rovers hatten an diesem Wochenende ihr erstes Spiel unter dem neuen Trainer Gerard Lyttle.
