Da war es nat\u00fcrlich interessant zu sehen, in welcher Form die Mannschaften sind, die demn\u00e4chst international ran m\u00fcssen. Mit Derry City und Cork City trafen zwei Europa League-Qualifikationsteilnehmer direkt aufeinander. Nach zwischenzeitlicher F\u00fchrung f\u00fcr Derry konnte Cork das Spiel noch in der ersten H\u00e4lfte in ein 2:1 drehen. Mitte der zweiten H\u00e4lfte musste Corks Spieler Jimmy Keohane nach gelb-rot vorzeitig vom Platz, Cork brachte die F\u00fchrung aber \u00fcber die Zeit und bleibt weiter ungeschlagen.<br \/>\nDundalk und Shamrock Rovers trafen zu Hause jeweils 4 mal, offenbar schie\u00dfen sich beide f\u00fcr die kommenden Partien warm. Interessant: Sowohl Dundalk als auch Shamrock Rovers erzielten alle Tore nach der Halbzeitpause.<br \/>\nIm Abstiegskampf konnte von den Teams auf den 5 letzten Pl\u00e4tzen nur St. Patrick&#8217;s Athletic punkten und damit den letzten Tabellenplatz verlassen.
